The news of my participation in the Vuelta was in the headlines last week - quite to my surprise. It almost sounded as if it would be my first “real race” since Tokyo. I’ll take it as an opportunity to tell you about my 2022 season - past and future - in my own words :) .

Sometimes you work hard for something and fail. It hurts, but it is normal in sports and it can actually be an even more valuable experience than winning.

I’m a bit late to the party in sharing this, but I thought I’d give a little insight into my life and everything that happened since Tokyo by writing down the replies to some of the “frequently asked questions” that I got over the last few months.
